This coalition is working tirelessly to improve the business corridor in northwest Des Moines from Merle Hay Road to the Des Moines River.


DAC is working to develop partnerships with businesses, neighbors, and non-profits with an interest in Douglas Avenue.


DAC advocates aesthetic and infrastructure improvements which will make Douglas Avenue a better, safer place to live, work, and play.


DAC pursues creative incentives to encourage businesses to locate and expand along Douglas Avenue.

Corridor Plan RFP is Available!

The Douglas Avenue Coalition is starting to ramp up efforts again!  The formal request for proposals from the City of Des Moines went public in late May.
