Corridor Plan RFP is Available!

The Douglas Avenue Coalition is starting to ramp up efforts again! The formal request for proposals from the City of Des Moines went public in late May. Design firms have until June 22nd to submit their bids. At that point a selection committee will review the responses with the goal of reviewing scores in mid-July. We are hopeful that work could begin yet this summer! This will be the start of a major undertaking to plan a revitalization strategy for the stretch of Douglas Avenue from the Des Moines River to Merle Hay Road.
